Decision​

Default Tenant Name: Autoch.at

Rationale​

  1. Brand Consistency: Matches the company branding and domain name (autoch.at)
  2. Migration Purpose: This name will be used in Phase 2 to backfill all existing production data into a single default tenant
  3. Consistency Requirement: Must be documented and used consistently across all migration scripts to avoid data inconsistencies

Usage​

This tenant name will be:

  • Inserted into the tenants table during Phase 2 data migration
  • Referenced in all backfill SQL scripts
  • Used as the default tenant for all existing users and business data

Notes​

  • The tenant name is stored as text in the tenants.name column with a UNIQUE constraint
  • If the name needs to change in the future, a new tenant would need to be created and data migrated
  • This decision is final for Phase 0 and Phase 2 implementation
